Cornerstone FC set their eyes on UJ Internal Major League Championship glory.

Cornerstone FC is going for glory this season in the University of Johannesburg Internal Major league championship. Despite being knocked out in the first stage of stigma knockout cup, Cornerstone fc have had a good league campaign this year. They won five of their last nine games, lost three, drew one and they are placed 2nd on the log table, with 16 points on their name, and just one point behind the log leaders Goudstad FC.

Cornerstone FC captain Ignatius Ngobeni, made it very clear that they stand a very good chance of winning the league this season. “there is a high chance that Cornerstone might win a trophy this year, we are number two on the log, we have three games remaining, all we have to do is win our remaining games, then we will see what happens.” He Said.

“considering our transformation, our ultimate goal is to win the league or at least finish into the top four by the end of this campaign.” Added the 21-year-old captain.
